RESCUE ORGANIZATIONS FOR DOGS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
The fact that a dog may have a medical problem, blindness, deafness, or other disability, or simply be an older dog does not mean that they can't still be a lovable and loving member of the household. That owners can even consider surrendering their dogs due to age, injury or health issues is beyond my ability to comprehend. But it happens. And all too often these dogs are further insulted by being considered unadoptable by the shelters to which they've been surrendered. They are therefore usually scheduled for almost immediate euthanasia.
