RESCUES AND SHELTERS
Virtually every breed of dog is supported by rescue organizations that focus on that breed. A rescue organization's primary function is to provide safe harbor for dogs that have been abandoned, abused, lost or surrendered. While some rescue organizations focus on a particular breed others, usually known simply as dog rescues or animal shelters, will assist any dog or animal in crisis.
As part of its services to support the rescue, adoption and well being of all dogs this website will post lists of animal rescues and shelters for which the contact information can be verified. Please support this effort by submitting the details of any rescue or shelter organization of which you are aware that is not already listed on this site.
