Courtesy post for Furever Dachshund RescueDoes Marbles look familiar? He should. He debuted on the Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl on Superbowl Sunday. But now that all the excitement is over he’s looking for a home. He’s a star! Why does he have to look so hard?    Marble is a German Shepherd/Pit Bull Terrier mix. He’s still a baby, about 8 months old and 26 lbs. He is likely to be a medium to large dog at maturity. He is basically tan with a pastel brindle mixed into his short coat. He'd be happy to share his home with young or old, adults and children, dogs and cats. Marbles is currently residing in a foster home and his foster Mom described him as follows: Marbles is a beautiful tan, pastel brindle, Shepard-Pit Bull mix. He is extremely calm and quiet except when he plays with his brother Peter. Marbles is currently working with a trainer and has learned sit and lay down. He is learning how to walk on a leash and go up and down stairs. He is a quick learner and we are getting him ready for his CGC (Canine Good Citizens) Test. He would be the perfect pet for a family with kids and pets because he is so calm, loving, and well behaved. He is not short on energy though, so like all puppies he plays throughout the day.
