Do you remember them? Do you recognize them? They are Harry and Sally. Dachshund/Basset Hound mixes that were Puppy Bowl IX participants! And Sally was awarded the "Drive of the Day' award for her outstanding run to the goal line. What an incredible athlete!
Check them out in close ups. They are too adorable!!!
They're about 6 months old and are very bonded having spent their entire short lives playing and snuggling together. Harry is a 12 pound male and Sally is a 17 pound female and here's what their foster Mom told us about them:Harry and Sally are two puppy stars participating in this year’s Puppy Bowl IX on Animal Planet. They love to play with other puppies, dogs, kids, and people of all kinds. Because they are puppies they have a high level of energy and extreme curiosity. They love squeaky toys, rough housing together, and playing chase throughout the house. Harry is the smaller of the two and seems to be a bit shy with people that he just meets. He usually takes his time warming up to people but once he decides that he likes you then he will be faithful forever. Sally is a bit more outgoing and very much enjoys the attention from people. Both are snuggly and loving and often share their affection with puppy kisses. They are young dachshund mixes who need a lot of attention so Harry and Sally need to be in a home with a family that has time to train and care for puppies. And they are so bonded they must be adopted by a family that will keep them together.Harry and Sally currently reside in Vermont. But Furever Dachshund Rescue encourages out of state adoptions. If you are interested in learning more about them please view their personal profile or contact their foster Mom Laura at chair@fureverdachshundrescue.org.
ADOPTION PENDING
Can you foster or adopt this adorable, 5-month-old, male pitbull puppy named Bailey.
Bailey is so smart and loveable! He can only stay in his foster home for a few weeks as an alternative to boarding. We still need someone to STEP UP for Baileyon a long term basis. He has only been in the foster for a few days and he is already making huge strides of progress, learning to socialize with other dogs and quickly picking up verbal commands. Bailey needs a special person who is experienced and willing to implement positive reinforcement training. Bailey has been through a lot in his short life and clearly just wants a home and some love. He needs a long term foster or permanent adoption ASAP! For more info, please call Famous Fido at 773-907-0305 or email Fido@famousfidorescue.com.
